Riguardando i provini delle foto delle vacanze fatte in estate, avverto come la sensazione che una delle foto è molto legata a qualcosa che ho già visto, ma non capisco a cosa.

Per l'ennesima volta sfoglio il libro "Lezioni di fotografia" di Ghirri e capisco tutto.A Matera avevo guardato e fotografato lo stesso posto di Luigi Ghirri, solo un po' più in là.
Le due foto, sia quella della vacanza sia quella del libro con la foto della vacanza, non sono né un omaggio né una citazione, ma solo una presa di coscienza.
Ghirri è un fotografo che amo, questo non vuol dire che devo fare le foto come lui.
Io fortunatamente me ne sono accorto, per altri servirà ancora un po' di tempo.

Going over the proofs of some photos I took during the summer holidays, I realize that one of the photos is very similar to something I have already seen, but I cannot remember what it is.
For the umpteenth time I browse the book "Lezioni di fotografia” by Ghirri and I understand
everything.In Matera I had watched and photographed the same place Louis Ghirri had photographed just a
little 'further.
The two photos, the holiday one and that of the book with a picture of the holiday, are neither a
tribute nor a summons, but it is only awareness.Ghirri is a photographer I love, but it does not mean that I have to take the same pictures as him.
Fortunately I realized it, maybe other people will need more time to do this.
